What we see every day

You can move
without pain.

In our experience, the area that hurts is usually the one working too hard. We look above, below, and on either side of it.

Back pain

Back pain can be one of the most frustrating things you can encounter in life, and it can develop for a number of reasons.

Shoulder pain

Shoulder pain is affected by the cervical spine, thoracic spine, and issues at the elbow and wrist. Much like the hip, the shoulder is affected by problems above and below.

Neck pain

Neck pain is another big one we see in the clinic. Your head weighs about 10 to 12 pounds, and the neck is a celery-stick-like pole it sits on.

Knee pain

Knee pain can develop for a number of reasons. The knee is one of the most commonly injured areas in the body.

Our core principle

This is cause care. The missing piece most patients never find.

PT ReVolution identifies and corrects the underlying causes of pain. Symptom care has an important place, and it takes a team. When no one on that team corrects the stiffness, weakness, and poor movement driving the problem, the pain often finds its way back.

Symptom care · your physicians

Calm the pain

Medications, injections, PRP, stem cell therapy, and surgical repair to calm pain and repair damage.

Cause care · PT ReVolution

Correct the cause

Skilled, hands-on correction of the stiffness, weakness, and poor movement driving the problem.

The complete picture

Your best chance at lasting relief

Care that addresses both the pain and what's causing it. We are the part of the team most people are missing.

“PT is PT.”

It isn't. And it's our biggest pet peeve.

All physical therapy is not the same. From clinic to clinic, it can look completely different. Some visits are mostly machines, heat packs, and a sheet of exercises. Ours are built on skilled, hands-on correction by clinicians who look above and below the pain, every visit.

Most people can handle what they can correct themselves. We focus on what you can't: joint mechanics that won't move right, foot, ankle, and hip issues you can't stretch out, nerves that need to be released, and muscles that need hands-on lengthening, not just exercises.

If PT didn't work for you before, you may never have had this kind of PT.

Where does it hurt?

Tap where it hurts. See what's usually behind it.

Your body moves as one connected chain, from the ankle and foot all the way to the neck. Where it hurts is rarely where the problem starts.

Where it hurtsWhat we often find driving it
Where it hurts

Knee pain

Aching, clicking, or pain with stairs, squatting, or running. Before or after a knee replacement.

Hidden causes we often find
  • Stiff or weak hip
  • Restricted ankle
  • Collapsing foot arch
  • Poor pelvis and low-back control

Movement Correction Therapy

Hands-on correction is central. Not an add-on.

Refined over 35+ years with patients in persistent pain: find the underlying cause, correct it, then strengthen it, so any other care you receive has the best possible chance to succeed.

1

Assess the whole body

A toe-to-head evaluation for joint restrictions, muscle and fascia imbalances, nerve entrapment, and symmetry of posture, range of motion, and strength.

2

Correct what's restricted

Skilled, one-on-one hands-on correction of joint, muscle, fascia, and nerve problems you can't fix with exercise alone.

3

Educate clearly

You learn what's driving the problem and what you can do on your own between visits.

4

Build lasting movement

Corrective stretching and strengthening, progressed systematically once better mechanics are restored.

The cascade

Stiffness breeds weakness. Weakness breeds stiffness.

A stiff area stops doing its share, so the muscles around it weaken. Weak muscles let the joints stiffen even more. Left alone, it's a never-ending cascade. The good news: in our experience, it can be stopped and reversed, no matter your age or condition.

Stay ahead of it

Tune-ups, not start-overs.

Life is tough, we're not getting any younger, and the body is always being challenged. Once your body learns what normal feels like, you'll know when something isn't working correctly. A quick re-check catches small problems before they unravel.

  • Learn what normal feels like
  • Notice when something is off
  • Come in for a quick re-check
Two ways we help

Prevent the injury. Or recover from it the right way.

Both start with the same whole-body movement assessment. What changes is the goal.

Before injury

Pre-injury preventative therapy

For people who aren't hurt yet and want to keep it that way: desk workers, athletes and weekend warriors, and active adults who feel tight, stiff, or "off."

  • Whole-body screen of posture, range of motion, and strength symmetry
  • Hands-on correction of restrictions before they turn into injuries
  • Personalized mobility and strengthening program
  • Periodic movement check-ups

Move better, perform stronger, and catch problems early.

After injury

Post-injury therapy

For people recovering from an injury, surgery, or pain that won't go away: sprains and strains, joint replacement, and persistent neck, back, or joint pain.

  • Evaluation that finds the root cause, not just the painful spot
  • Hands-on correction, with dry needling, shockwave, PEMF, and more when appropriate
  • Progressive rehab from pain relief to full function
  • Return-to-work and return-to-sport planning

Recover fully and lower the chance of re-injury.

Pain Free Total Knee Paradigm

Still hurting after a knee replacement?

You did what you were supposed to do. Surgery. Rehab. Home exercises. A lot of people finish rehab and still deal with pain, because the real driver isn't always strength. Sometimes it's mechanics: how your knee is moving, and what your hip, ankle, and foot are doing to it.

  • Stiffness you can't shake
  • Swelling that keeps coming back
  • Pain getting out of a chair
  • Limping, or "I don't trust this knee"
  • Night aches and pain at rest
Ultimate Athlete

Are you the athlete you were born to be?

Every person shares about 99.9% of the same DNA. The other 0.1% is you: your frame, your levers, your speed, your gifts. A stiff hip, a locked-up ankle, or a side-to-side imbalance quietly steals it. We find those asymmetries and correct them.

Athletes don't break. They compensate.

When a hip won't rotate, an ankle won't bend, or the upper back won't turn, your body still finds a way to make the play. The knee, lower back, shoulder, or elbow picks up work it was never designed to do. Rep after rep, season after season, that's how we see many non-contact injuries develop.

Sue Davis outdoors, active again

Healthy & happy again after total knee replacement

“I am now pain free in my right knee and more active than I have been in years. Life is good again!”

Read Sue's story

“I had a right total knee replacement a few years ago. Although the surgeon did a great job with the surgery, I still had tremendous pain over the following two years. I was to the point where I could not be active, as I had constant 8/10 pain in my right knee. Life simply was not fun. I had physical therapy at a couple of different facilities, but my knee did not improve. My surgeon did not know what to tell me, as the knee ‘looked good’ with x-rays and testing.

I was blessed to find the folks at PT ReVolution of Texas. The in-depth and hands-on approach they provided was so much different (and effective) than my previous physical therapy providers. My problems were not just in my knee, but in my spine, pelvis, hip, and ankle/foot. My knee was actually the least of my issues (so I learned). Valuable care that changed my life. I am healthy and happy again!!”

C.W. Richardson with his wife

“They didn't just treat my knee. They showed me why.”

“They showed me the ‘whys.’ I could actually feel the ‘whys.’ And then we went to work correcting them.”

Read C.W.'s story

“After years of surgeries and traditional physical therapy, I thought I knew what rehabilitation looked like. When it came time to recover from my total knee replacement, however, a friend who had gone through the Pain Free Total Knee Paradigm at PT ReVolution told me I needed to see George Summers and Willie Amos.

I'm glad I listened.

Working with George and Willie was completely different from the traditional physical therapy I had experienced. There was no aggressive or painful stretching at any session. Instead, the hands-on sessions focused on freeing restricted soft tissue and scar tissue, restoring joint mobility, improving posture and symmetry, and helping my body move more normally again.

But what impressed me most was that they didn't just focus on my new knee. For years, I really didn't understand why my knee had worn out in the first place. George and Willie showed me the movement and mechanical issues they believed had placed unnecessary stress on my knee over time.

They showed me the ‘whys.’ I could actually feel the ‘whys.’ And then we went to work correcting them.

That changed the way I looked at my recovery. We weren't simply rehabilitating a surgically replaced knee. We were working to improve the underlying movement problems so my entire body could function better.

The results exceeded my expectations. Even my surgeon was impressed with my recovery timeline. And the result that matters most to me? I got back on the racquetball court. Today, I'm back playing and competing, doing what I love and feeling stronger than I thought possible after knee replacement.

That's what the Pain Free Total Knee Paradigm at PT ReVolution has meant to me. George and Willie didn't just help me recover from surgery. They helped me understand my body, move better, and get my life back.

They have helped my wife as well. She is the good-looking lady at my side.”

“Don't be Paul.”

“Listen to your body. Find the cause. Get the right help, and don't wait.”

Read Paul's story

“I've spent my career identifying problems, finding solutions, and building businesses around better ways of doing things. Unfortunately, when it came to my own shoulder, I didn't follow that same philosophy.

I waited too long.

By the time I found George and PT ReVolution, my shoulder had been bothering me for quite some time. Instead of simply treating where I hurt, George started looking for the hidden underlying causes, problems with how my body was moving that I never would have connected to my shoulder.

The results have been impressive. My shoulder has improved, but just as importantly, I've seen improvements in other areas of my body as those underlying movement problems have been addressed.

Unfortunately, I may have waited too long. Some damage had already occurred, and it may require additional time to heal or ultimately require surgical intervention.

So my message is simple: Don't be Paul. Don't ignore the signals your body is giving you. Don't wait until a small problem becomes a bigger one. And most importantly, find the right help.

Had I found George and PT ReVolution earlier, I may have been able to avoid some of the damage to my shoulder. Either way, I'm moving better, I'm feeling better, and I look forward to finishing the job.

Listen to your body. Find the cause. Get the right help, and don't wait.”

“These guys know their stuff.”

“I've had a lot of treatment over the years. The treatment I received from George and Willie was completely different from any care I had ever received before.”

Read Bruce's story

“I've had so many surgeries over the years that it's honestly hard to keep track of them. The NFL was tough on my body, and I've dealt with the effects of that for a long time.

When I first came to PT ReVolution, I figured it would be the same old, same old. I've had a lot of treatment over the years, so I thought I knew what to expect. I quickly realized that the treatment I received from George and Willie was completely different from any care I had ever received before.

I know I'm never going to be my old self again, but I've made tremendous improvement with the treatment at PT ReVolution. I have less pain, I'm able to stand taller, and I'm walking better. In a lot of ways, I feel a little more like my younger self again.

I've also come to realize that I need tune-up sessions from time to time. Life is tough on the body, and I'm not getting any younger. When things start getting out of line, I know where to go.

PT ReVolution is simply the best. I've been there, done that, and had just about every kind of treatment you can imagine. These guys know their stuff.”

Pro motocross rider feels 20 years younger

“I am as active as I was 20 years ago. Their in-depth, hands-on approach is nothing like I was used to.”

Read Gary's story

“I found the folks at PT ReVolution of Texas through the recommendation of a friend. I will admit I was skeptical, as I had been through tons of PT over the years without much results. I had raced professional motocross for most of my life, and was always banged up and injured. I went to see the guys at PT ReVolution of Texas out of desperation. I had aches and pains in a bunch of areas, and was no longer able to ride or do much of anything.

Long story short, I am so much better. I continue to do the things I was taught at PT ReVolution of Texas. Effective and helpful. I have since sent a number of my motocross students for assessment and treatment. Can't recommend them enough.”

A movement expert on what sets PT ReVolution apart

“They don't simply focus on where you hurt. They look at how your entire body is moving, identify the underlying problems, and then actually work to correct them.”

Read Justin's story

“I've spent most of my life around high-level athletics, human movement, and performance. As a collegiate All-American, college track and field coach, and two-time competitor on American Ninja Warrior, I've learned just how important it is for the body to move the way it was designed to move.

That's one of the things I appreciate most about PT ReVolution. Their approach is different from traditional physical therapy. They don't simply focus on where you hurt or temporarily treat the symptoms. They look at how your entire body is moving, identify the underlying problems that may be contributing to your pain or limitations, and then actually work to correct them.

The hands-on treatment and movement correction techniques they use are unique, and more importantly, they're effective. With my background in kinesiology and athletics, I have a tremendous appreciation for an approach that focuses on restoring better movement, not simply managing symptoms.

That's what sets PT ReVolution apart.”

Justin Hobbs · Collegiate All-American, college track & field coach, two-time American Ninja Warrior competitor

Two weeks from spinal fusion

“I was having tremendous lower back pain and pain down my legs. I was two weeks away from having spinal fusion surgery. I learned that my entire movement chain was malfunctioning from the ground up, and this was ruining my spine. Fast forward a couple of months, and my pain was gone. I didn't expect to get better, and definitely didn't expect to be faster and stronger as an athlete. Tremendous!”

Derek · High school football & baseball

Faster than ever, all the way to state

“I tore my left hamstring right before track regionals. I was unaware that it tore due to underlying issues with my pelvis, hip, lumbar spine, and even my ankle/foot. I got better quickly and ended up running better than ever! My team made it all the way to state! I also no longer have the daily aches and pains I thought were ‘normal.’ They explained that no pain is normal.”

With over 35 years of clinical experience, George Summers is the founder of PT ReVolution of Texas, the creator of the Movement Correction Specialist certification, and the developer of Movement Correction Therapy.

George is a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, and PT ReVolution of Texas is a veteran-owned business.

He has treated thousands of patients and athletes, including current and former NFL and MLB players, professional golfers on the LPGA Tour, professional motocross riders, and collegiate and high school athletes. Movement Correction Therapy grew from a simple observation: pain often shows up where the body is compensating, not where the original movement problem began.

George holds a Master of Physical Therapy degree and previously earned the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification through the American Physical Therapy Association. He has advanced training in Integrated Dry Needling and Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement specializations through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and has taught continuing education seminars to healthcare professionals across the country.

Having personally struggled with numerous preventable injuries, he understands the frustration of pain firsthand, and it shaped his belief that correcting the underlying cause is far more effective than chasing symptoms.
