What is a Movement Correction Specialist?
A licensed clinician who has mastered our approach: finding the stiffness, weakness, and poor movement above and below the pain, and correcting it with skilled hands. George Summers created this designation. It isn't earned in a weekend course. It's earned one patient, one technique, and one assessment at a time.
“I don't hand this out. When a clinician earns it, I know any patient who walks through our doors will get the care I'd want for my own family.”

- 1
Licensed first
Every candidate is a Texas-licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant before training begins.
- 2
Hours of hands-on training
Hours upon hours of one-on-one instruction in our assessment, joint, myofascial, and movement correction techniques.
- 3
Endless practice
Technique after technique, practiced and refined until it's second nature, with feedback at every step.
- 4
Proven consistency
Certification comes only after set parameters are met and George is satisfied that the clinician's techniques, assessments, and treatment are at a consistently high level.
- 5
Certified, and still learning
Specialists keep training together as one team, so the standard never slips, at any location.
Movement Correction Specialist is an internal training designation created by George Summers, PT, MPT. It is not a state license, a board specialty certification, or a credential issued or endorsed by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or any other agency, and it does not change a clinician's legal scope of practice. All evaluation and treatment is provided by Texas-licensed physical therapists and physical therapist assistants, with assistants working under the supervision of a physical therapist as Texas law requires.
